International Entry Requirements

Students are selected based on academic merit. If you would like to study at IIE MSA, you must be at least 17 years old or older when you enrol and you must have made an application to study when you were 16 years old.

Entry requirements

IIE MSA reserves the right to amend admissions arrangements to specify an appropriate level of subject achievements and requirements for particular programmes

Same APS are applicable to all International applicants. The conversion table provides as a guide for students to see whether they will be eligible for entry.

Please note complete or foreign conditional exemption certificates are required
This prerequisite applies to non-South African citizens and to students who do not have a South African National Senior Certificate and want to enrol for undergraduate studies at IIE MSA. The certificate can be obtained from Universities South Africa (USAF), in supporting our students SAM will apply on behalf of its students.

Students remain liable for the costs associated with such an application.

The Cambridge A levels and International Baccalaureate Schools (Higher Levels) are higher that the NSC. Application for the following results, as presented below, link to the South African NSC Grades:

English Language Entry Requirements

English is the language of instruction and assessment at IIE MSA. Students who attended secondary education where the medium of instruction was not English need to meet English language proficiency requirements in order to be eligible for admission.
