The IIE Bachelor of Commerce in Economics degree provides graduates with a critical understanding of the relationship between the disciplines of business management and economics in the business world. Minimum Admission Requirements

National Senior Certificate (NSC)
Bachelor pass with English (50%) and Mathematics (50%) or Mathematical Literacy (80%)

National Certificate (Vocational) (NC(V))
Bachelor pass with English (50%) and Mathematics (50%) or Mathematical Literacy (80%)

Senior Certificate (SC)
Endorsement with English (50%) and Mathematics HG (50%) or Mathematics SG (80%)

Senior Certificate (Amended) (SC(a))
Bachelor pass with English (50%) and Mathematics (50%) or Mathematical Literacy (80%)

Alternate Admission

Should the English requirement not be met at NSC Grade 12, then entrance may be granted if the English requirement is met based on the Grade 11 final mark

Entry requirements

International entry requirements

An USAf Exemption Certificate is required and meeting the relevant Maths and English requirements.

A cognate Higher Certificate OR cognate 240 credit Diploma OR an Advanced Certificate OR 360 credit Diploma or Degree may satisfy the minimum admission requirements to degree studies.

If discipline not cognate at least 20% of credits must be academic literacy or numeracy related.
