Within every organisation, there is a need for competent professionals that specialise in finance and accounting. These individuals are needed to assist with the internal decision-making and control of a company’s finances to ensure a healthy and robust bottom-line. Financial accounting specialists are also required externally for financial reporting purposes too.

Both locally and globally, specialists in this field are hard to find. It has been widely publicised as a skills shortage around the world, making it a much sought-after career opportunity. Within the IIE Postgraduate Diploma in Finance and Accounting , the student will get a detailed understanding of how to render a professional service in both of these areas of specialisation which includes being able to work for private and public companies, consulting firms, governmental organisations and NGO’s.
