The IIE MSA campus was abuzz with future students and guests recently, during their annual Open Day. The campus’ friendly student advisors and expert academics advised, assisted and presented the IIE Programmes offered at the campus. Various campus tours with academics and current students took place throughout the day, showcasing the largest higher private education campus in South Africa.
Every year IIE MSA hosts Open Day aimed at high school learners in Grade 11 and 12 and their families, to present an ideal platform to explore over 30 IIE study areas offered at IIE MSA.
Marlene Bogaards, Head of School – Commerce & Law at the IIE MSA campus described the day as a vast success and was honoured to have contributed to the learners and parents’ experience who visited the School’s information table. “It was prodigious to see the eagerness and excitement on the learner’s faces to learn and take the first step in becoming future leaders in their chosen disciplines. IIE MSA is pleased to guide and assist these young and upcoming leaders in their journey to shape their future” -says Marlene
IIE MSA prospective students said attending the event was time well spent as they learnt a lot about the IIE qualifications offered at IIE MSA, while others were glad that they were given enough information that enabled them to make their future career choices on the spot.
The day was filled with fun activities which included a competition for visitors, one of their future students walked away with a Takealot voucher. Visitors were asked to guess the number of items in a bowl, and the winner
Matthew Wylie, currently in matric and eagerly waiting for his results shared his experience: “The first thing I thought when I entered campus was wow, the real world is starting, and that is a very scary thought for someone who has just finished school. Luckily my mind was put to ease when I saw and heard about the IIE Programmes offered at IIE MSA, the friendly people and atmosphere around campus. IIE MSA is definitely a place I see myself going in the near future.”
