Stéfani Coetzee is a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and a Chartered Management and Global Accountant (ACMA, CGMA). Stéfani is a senior lecturer in Financial Management and Cost Accounting, and is the programme leader for the Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting at IIE MSA.
Stéfani studied at the University of Pretoria, where she passed her degree Cum Laude. She also received the Grey Appointments prize for the best results achieved by a South African student in CIMA’s stage 4 exams. Stéfani has lectured at UNISA, UP, Rhodes University (guest lecturer), NWU, Boston City Campus, Varsity College, and Forbes Lever Baker.
Stéfani is dedicated to the accounting profession and education, and therefore was a member of SAICA’s ExamCo for the Financial Specialisation paper for 7 years. She was responsible for translating the APC papers in 2015, 2017 and 2018, and was an academic reviewer for SAICA for a number of University accreditation/re-accreditation visits. She has served as a marker and umpire for both the ITC and APC, and as a subject specialist for Exam reviews.
