Busisiwe Khaba


Busisiwe is a Politics lecturer and researcher. Her expertise is in International Relations and African Politics. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and is currently enrolled for a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in International Relations. Busisiwe’s research interests include the development of African states, state-building and nation building in the African context. She is also a political analyst and often gives expert analysis on television and radio.

Busisiwe has been involved in the political affairs environment for the past nine years. She has gained experience in government operations and state protocol, through engagement with various departments such as the Department of International Relations and Co-operation (DIRCO) where she is a member of the South African Academic core group of the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA).
