Students are engaging in practice from the second year of study. Second year practicums are used to develop the skills required for placements.  The third practicum module focuses on tools needed for engaging with practice.

Examination/Summative assessment: 50%

Workload requirements

Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this module is 50 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study. Independent study may include associated readings, assessment and preparation for scheduled activities. The module requires on average one/two hours of scheduled activities per week. Scheduled activities may include a combination of teacher directed learning, peer directed learning and online engagement.
